SIGMA ENGINEERS AND CONSTRUCTORS

Mechanical Intern

My internship experience at Sigma was not only educational but also fun. I had the opportunity to learn a new modeling program, Bentley AutoPIPE Stress Analysis, in order to simulate and analyze the stress in current and future piping units. Also, I helped compile pipe and equipment specifications referencing P&IDs while gaining knowledge on various turnaround procedures, powerhouse units, and expansion projects. This valuable experience set the foundation for my engineering career.

ENCOUNTER ENGINEERING

Seattle, Washingston

Over fall break I had the opportunity along with eleven other students to embrace the culture and learn about Seattle's engineering industry. Click below to see some of the photos that captured the experience.

TEXAS REGIONAL ENGINEERING CONFERENCE

TREC

TREC was an experience that allowed me to interact with engineering students of different colleges and compete against in a design competition.  It was a fun way to utilize quick critical thinking skills within a team in a friendly but competitive atmosphere.
