The Society of Peer Mentors or SPM is a student organization comprised of interdisciplinary engineering students at Louisiana State University. As vice president, I have presented on various leadership topics such as time management and business etiquette. This organization is a passion of mine as it has developed me to the leader and engineer I am today.
SOCIETY OF WOMEN ENGINEERS
Secretary
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is an organization important to me for its encouragement and motivation to fellow women in the engineering field. Having served as secretary I helped organize an annual event, Women Impacting Success in Engineering (WISE), creating the attached evening's program.
UNDERGRADUATE TEACHING ASSISTANT
Introduction to Engineering
As an undergraduate teaching assistant for the College of Engineering, I helped the professor with class time procedure, prepared assignments, and mentored future LSU engineers. Attached is a document that communicates to the first year students a guideline to writing an engineering lab report in order to better prepare them for the future of technical writing assignments.
